DESCRIPTION

This Product Standard is for operating system environments providing realtime services based on IEEE Std 1003.13 Profile PSE54. This supports applications portability at the source code level and includes the provision of a standard operating system interface and environment, including a full file system implementation and support for multiple users.

CONFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

A single configuration of the system shall support the requirements described in Section 9 of IEEE Std 1003.13 with the following exceptions:

C Language. Dialect ISO C. ISO C source programs invoking the services of this Product Standard must be supported by the registered product.

INDICATORS OF COMPLIANCE

For the POSIX_* Units of Functionality and POSIX.1 Option Requirements, a test report from the currently authorized release of the VSPSE54-2003 test suite in POSIX01 mode. This report may exclude the tests for POSIX Tracing.

For the XSI_* Units of Functionality, a test report from the currently authorized release of the VSPSE54-2003 test suite in UNIX03 mode.

A test report from the currently authorized release of the VSCPCTS-2003 test suite.

MIGRATION

This is the first version of this product standard.
